Thirty-six feathers are set in tiers on a copper frame, each one catching a little of the light and softening what passes through. At 39 inches across it is a piece that changes the character of a room rather than lighting it neutrally.

Sizing & placement

Give it clear air: a living room ceiling, a bedroom, or a dressing room where nothing crowds the outer feathers. At 39 inches it wants a room of at least 12 by 12 feet to sit comfortably. Warm bulbs suit the material; cool white flattens the colour and shows the frame.
