An open metal grid is built up in tiers, silver on silver, so the fixture is mostly air. Lit from within, the lattice throws a fine pattern onto the ceiling and walls around it.

Sizing & placement

Both versions are taller than they are wide, so they suit a dining table, a stairwell or a bedroom where the height can be read rather than a low-ceilinged hallway. Hang the lowest edge 30 to 36 inches above a tabletop. The pattern the grid casts is part of the piece — give it a plain ceiling to work against.
