Sizing & placement

Eight lights on a wide wooden frame make this a dining-room or hallway fixture rather than a bedroom one. Hang the glass 30 to 36 inches above a table so the shades sit above eye level. The bulbs are visible through clear glass, so a filament shape suits the rustic frame better than a plain frosted globe.
