The single rings are under two inches deep and work on eight-foot ceilings; match the diameter to roughly half the width of the table or seating below. The multi-ring configurations drop nearly five feet and belong over a stairwell, an entryway void or a double-height living room. The 47-inch long plate is the one for a rectangular dining table, hung 30 to 34 inches above the surface.
