The glass carries a feather texture pressed into its surface, so light leaves it diffused and slightly uneven rather than clean. Held in a shallow copper ring under ten inches deep, it reads as a band of soft brightness rather than a fixture.

Sizing & placement
The adjustable chain lets you set the drop to the room: 30 to 36 inches above a dining table, higher in a living room where people walk beneath. The 23.6 in ring suits a bedroom or a table for four; 31.5 in and 39.4 in want a full dining room. The long version follows a rectangular table better than the round ones. These are heavy fixtures, so confirm the ceiling box rating.
