The long four-head is the one for a rectangular dining table or an island — seven inches wide, nearly four feet long, hung 30 to 34 inches above the surface. The round formats run from 29 to 38 inches and want a square or circular table of roughly twice that width, on a ceiling of nine feet or more. The 12-head is over twenty-six pounds and should be fixed to a joist.
