Sizing & placement

Run it along the length of a dining table or kitchen island rather than across it — choose a length roughly two-thirds of the surface below. Hang it 30 to 36 inches above the tabletop. The 78-inch version also works down a hallway or above a stair run, where its narrow profile keeps it out of the way. Warm white suits dining; neutral suits a working surface.
